We will have the opportunity to hear this young and exceptionally talented organist at the Cathedral of St Anastasia in Zadar on 10 September 2027, as part of the 4th International Organ Festival “Organs of St Anastasia.” Raphael Attila Vogl will be performing for the third consecutive year with a new and carefully designed programme, thereby confirming his artistic maturity and his lasting connection with our festival and our city.
It is particularly interesting to note that he began his early musical education in Passau — the city where the organs for Zadar’s cathedral were built in the renowned Eisenbarth master workshop. This symbolic connection between the place of his musical formation and the instrument he now plays in Zadar lends his performances an additional artistic and emotional dimension.
Raphael Attila Vogl is considered one of the most promising young organists of his generation. After completing his studies in Europe, he continued his artistic training at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, where he further developed his distinctive interpretative voice. His playing is marked by technical assurance, stylistic conviction and remarkable musicality, and each of his performances brings freshness, energy and profound artistic insight.
We look forward to welcoming this young artist once again, as year after year he captivates Zadar audiences and enriches the musical life of our city.
The concert programme will be announced soon!
