THOMAS OSPITAL: SOLO CONCERT AND MASTERCLASS IN JULY 2026.

Thomas Ospital has been the titular organist of the great organ of the Saint-Eustache church in Paris for ten years. He is a professor of organ alongside Olivier Latry, whose student he was, at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance. Winner of several international competitions. He also regularly leads master classes in interpretation and improvisation. He is known for his virtuoso improvisation, which occupies an important place in his musical practice, as well as his youthful energy and complete dedication to music. He is considered one of the world's best concert organists, so we were honored to have had the opportunity to listen to and see him in Zadar.

He closed the second edition of the international festival "Organ of St. Anastasia" in the 2024/2025 season with a solo concert. The concert was held on August 23, 2025 at 8 p.m. in the Zadar Cathedral of St. Anastasia, on the famous Eisenbarth organ, to the general delight of the visitors who filled the cathedral to capacity.

On this occasion, cooperation was agreed
for the third edition of the
international festival "Organ of St. Anastasia",
at which Prof. Thomas Ospital will again hold
a solo concert in the Cathedral of St. Anastasia
in Zadar on July 11, 2026 at 8 p.m. at the
third international festival: "Organ of St. Anastasia".

Along with the concert, Prof. Thomas Ospital will hold an organ MasterClass. The MasterClass will focus on improvisation, interpretation, registration and management of complex and large acoustics and will provide participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sounds of French symphonic organs. Participants will also have the opportunity to play a final concert and will be awarded a certificate of participation in the MasterClass.
