Paolo Oreni (b. 1979, Treviglio) began studying the organ at the age of 11. He studied under Maestro Giovanni Walter Zaramella and later at the National Conservatory in Luxembourg, where in 2002 he won the prestigious Prix Interregional – Diplôme de Concert.
The influences of Jean-Paul Imbert, Lydia Baldecchi Arcuri, and Maestro Jean Guillou shaped his repertoire and technique. Oreni has received numerous international awards and has performed with renowned orchestras and ensembles across Europe. He has recorded for Fugatto, ORGANpromotion, and the municipality of Salorno, and his concerts have been broadcast on European radio stations, including the Bavarian Radio in Munich.
Since 2006, he has regularly taught masterclasses in improvisation and repertoire interpretation in Munich, Altenberg, and other German cities, and serves as a jury member for national and international organ competitions. As an organ expert, he collaborates with European builders on the design of modern instruments, and he has also designed his own concert organ, Wanderer, currently the largest transportable organ in existence.
