ORGANIST
Thomas Ospital has been the titular organist of the grand organ of the Saint-Eustache church in Paris since 2015. From 2016 to 2019, he became the first permanent organist at the Maison de la Radio. Thomas Ospital began his music studies at the Bayonne Conservatory with Esteban Landart and continued them at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he won five first prizes. His teachers include Olivier Latry, Michel Bouvard, Thierry Escaich, Philippe Lefebvre, Fabien Waksman, Isabelle Duha and Pierre Pincemaille. Since 2017, he has been professor of keyboard harmonization at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and since 2021, professor of organ alongside Olivier Latry. Thomas Ospital is regularly invited to teach interpretation and improvisation in master classes. His concert career has led him to perform in France and abroad. Improvisation occupies an important place in his musical practice. Winner of several international competitions (Zaragoza, Chartres, Toulouse, Grand Prix of the Florentz Academy of Fine Arts), Thomas Ospital is a young artist who has quickly earned a place among the world's best concert organists.
