MEZZO-SOPRANO
NERA GOJANOVIĆ, was born in 1979 in Šibenik. She enrolled in the Music Academy in Zagreb in 1997 in the class of Prof. Snježana Bujanović-Stanislav. She graduated in 2003 and in the same year enrolled in the master's degree at the academy in Zagreb in the class of prima donna Nella Manuilenko. In her artistic work to date, she has held significant concerts as well as performed significant roles within Croatian opera productions. She held a solo concert at the Vatroslav Lisinski Theatre as part of the “Darko Lukić” panel in 2005. She has been professionally trained by renowned artists; Vlatka Oršanić, Anne-Marie Zeller, Tiziana Šojot, Lidija Horvat-Dunjko, Gerhard Zeller and by the renowned European pedagogue Eva Blahova in Bratislava. Since February 2008, she has been employed at the Croatian National Theatre in Šibenik. She is a member of the Croatian Society of Musicians. With her arrival in Šibenik, she launched a concert season at the Šibenik Theatre, a concert subscription, a cycle of presentations of Šibenik musicians, an International Vocalmasterclass dedicated to Majda Radić, and a Classical Music Festival “Musica appassionata” dedicated to Neven Belamarić. She organized, produced, and performed in numerous concerts, musical and stage programs, and finally in the operas of G. C. Menotti “The Medium” produced by the Croatian National Theatre in Šibenik, the first opera production in almost a century, and “The Turn of the Screw” by B. Britten.
